Hi, it’s Jo

CBT Therapist & Mindfulness Practitioner
Welcome — it’s lovely to have you here, taking that next step into changing your life.

I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, with over 20 years’ experience supporting young people and adults through my work in education, mental health and wellbeing.

My practice has always been focused on helping others build balance and confidence, using my mindfulness and compassion studies, and teaching experience in schools and the community.

My goal is to create a calm, non-judgmental space, where you can explore your challenges and begin to move toward the life you want to live.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, or feeling stuck, my aim is to support you in understanding your thoughts and emotions — and to help you rediscover a sense of meaning and value in your life.

” My aim is to make each session collaborative, supportive, and grounded in compassion — a space where you can feel heard, understood, and gently guided toward the changes you want to make.

Why cognitive behavioural therapy?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps us understand how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours are all connected. Often, when we feel anxious, low, or overwhelmed, it’s not just what’s happening around us that affects how we feel — it’s also the way we interpret and respond to those experiences.
